Hydrotherapy
Gentle, Effective Rehabilitation in Warm Water
At iRehab, we offer tailored Hydrotherapy designed to help people recover from injury, manage pain, and improve mobility in a supportive, low-impact environment. Conducted in a heated pool, hydrotherapy (also known as aquatic physiotherapy) allows patients to move more freely, with less pain and joint stress, while improving strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery, or working on mobility and balance, hydrotherapy offers a safe and effective path to better movement and wellbeing.
What Is Hydrotherapy?
Hydrotherapy is a form of therapeutic exercise conducted in warm water, typically under the guidance of a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist. The natural buoyancy of water reduces the strain on joints, while the warmth promotes muscle relaxation and circulation.
Hydrotherapy is ideal for people who may struggle with traditional land-based exercise due to pain, stiffness, or balance issues.
