Sophia Wehbe is an experienced and compassionate Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 18 years in the health and rehabilitation industry. Based at iRehab, she is known for her clinical expertise, patient-focused care, and ability to create tailored exercise programs that make a real difference in her clients’ lives.
Sophia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Exercise Science and is a proud Accredited member of Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA), maintaining her commitment to continued professional development and best practice standards.
Throughout her career, Sophia has worked extensively across a wide range of clinical settings, supporting clients with: - Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, obesity)
- Acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries
- Age-related conditions and falls prevention
- Workplace and return-to-work injuries
- Complex health conditions and comorbidities
- NDIS and disability-related interventions
Her approach is evidence-based and highly individualised. Sophia takes the time to understand each person’s health history, functional goals, and lifestyle — developing safe, structured exercise programs that are not only effective, but sustainable and empowering. Whether working with older adults, people with disabilities, or individuals recovering from surgery or injury, she combines clinical knowledge with genuine care and motivation.
Sophia is especially passionate about helping her clients rebuild confidence, improve quality of life, and regain independence through movement. She believes strongly in the power of education and support — ensuring every person she works with feels heard, understood, and encouraged throughout their health journey. When she’s not in the clinic or out on mobile visits, Sophia enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
