Does exercise really work as treatment?
Yes. Clinical exercise, prescribed by an accredited exercise physiologist, is an evidence-based treatment for managing chronic disease, recovering from injury, and improving function in disability. Exercise and Sports Science Australia sets the standards for the profession, and the research base is strong. The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reports that physical inactivity contributes to roughly 2.5 per cent of Australia’s total disease burden each year. Targeted exercise directly addresses that.

At iRehab, every program starts with a thorough assessment of your health history, current function, and personal goals. No two programs are the same because no two people are. The team works with your GP, specialist, support coordinator, or allied health team to build a plan that fits your life, not the other way around.

Care that travels to you, built around your health goals
You are assessed as a whole person. The first session is not a five-minute intake form.
Programs are written for one person , you. No photocopied exercise sheets. Every exercise in your program is chosen because it targets a specific outcome linked to your condition and your goals.
You do not have to travel to get care. If coming to a clinic is hard, the team comes to you. iRehab delivers mobile exercise physiology across Sydney, from the Hills District to the Inner West.
Your funding is handled without confusion. The team works with NDIS, Medicare EPC/CDM, WorkCover NSW, CTP, DVA, and private health funds. If you are unsure whether you are covered, they check before your first session.
Your whole care team stays in the loop. With your consent, iRehab communicates with your GP, specialist, support coordinator, and family so everyone is working from the same plan.
Results are tracked and shared. Progress is measured session to session. You see the data. Your referrer sees the data. Nothing is vague.
How does an exercise physiology session work at iRehab?
Getting started with iRehab’s NDIS Exercise Physiology in Sydney is straightforward or call us or submit a referral and we’ll take care of the rest.
Mobile Exercise Physiologist Sydney , we come to you
Not everyone can get to a clinic. Traffic, mobility limitations, caring responsibilities, or simply preference can make clinic visits impractical. iRehab delivers mobile exercise physiology across Sydney. An accredited exercise physiologist comes to your home, community centre, gym, or aged care facility with portable equipment and a full program.
Mobile sessions are identical in quality to clinic sessions. The same assessments, the same personalised programming, the same progress tracking. The only difference is that you do not need to leave your front door.
This service is available to NDIS participants, aged care recipients, injury-recovery patients, and anyone who finds travel a barrier to consistent care.
How much will I pay, and what funding can I use?
iRehab accepts all major funding schemes. The team checks your eligibility before your first session so there are no surprises.
